The “Joe LeNoir” Sensory Garden will be a community alcove of sound, scents, texture and beauty, providing new experience and discovery to people with disabilities. This will be a significant addition to AccessAbility, a Center for Independent Living, that will incorporate sensory and brain stimulation in a safe and accessible outdoor setting. It will provide learning experiences and social engagement through the use of interactive musical installations and garden programming. The garden will be dedicated Joe LeNoir, a renowned member of our community that ensured AccessAbility’s foothold, providing continued access to the people we serve for almost 20 years. Thank you Joe.
