Who we are
A Center for Independent Living, run by and for our community.
AccessAbility (AbilitySC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and Center for Independent Living based in North Charleston, serving Dorchester, Charleston, and Berkeley counties and the wider Charleston Lowcountry.
We're consumer-directed: people with disabilities lead the organization and shape the work. Rather than deciding what's best for someone, we put the tools, skills, and connections in their hands — so they can live, work, and take part in community life on their own terms.
